'Sound of Freedom' Thriller Makes Streaming Debut on Prime Video
TL;DR
Amazon Prime Video has acquired the streaming rights for the box office hit "Sound of Freedom," which will be available to subscribers in the U.S. on December 26. The film, based on the true story of a former government agent rescuing children from sex traffickers, generated $184 million in North America and $242 million globally. While it received support from religious and conservative media groups, it also faced controversy for allegedly embellishing child exploitation and promoting conspiracy theories. Despite the mixed reception, "Sound of Freedom" has been praised for shedding light on an important issue.
