Pavel Talankin’s Oscar for Mr. Nobody Against Putin was barred by TSA from a JFK flight, leading Lufthansa to box and tag the statuette for checked baggage; upon arrival in Frankfurt the box was missing, prompting a search and requests for comment from Lufthansa and the TSA.
