Ukrainian Protester Makes Bold Statement on Cannes Red Carpet

Ukrainian influencer Ilona Chernobai staged a protest in support of Ukraine on the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival by pouring fake blood over herself. She was immediately removed from the carpet by security. Chernobai, who has one million followers on Instagram, posted about her act of protest on the platform, saying that her page is under threat of deletion. The Ukrainian League of Cinemas has called on participants of the festival to halt all business with Russia rather than support "terrorism."
