Wendi McLendon-Covey on Jeff Garlin's Long-Awaited Goldbergs Departure
TL;DR
Wendi McLendon-Covey, star of ABC sitcom The Goldbergs, has spoken out about Jeff Garlin's departure from the show due to complaints about his on-set behaviour. McLendon-Covey described the decision to write Garlin out of the show as "a long time coming" and acknowledged that it was a bold move, especially following the recent death of co-star George Segal. Garlin has maintained that he was not fired from the show and will continue his role in the forthcoming season of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
