TL;DR

Marvel's upcoming Fantastic Four movie may be set in the 1960s, potentially introducing an alternate history of spaceflight to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The teaser image and details suggest a retro angle, with director Matt Shakman's involvement and references to 1960s culture. The possibility of an alternate spaceflight timeline in the film aligns with the popular sci-fi trope seen in shows like For All Mankind, raising questions about how the Fantastic Four will fit into the MCU's continuity and what version of the 1960s they will inhabit.
