Alex Cooper Launches The Unwell Network, Expanding with Influencers and TikTok Stars

Alex Cooper, the host of Spotify's popular podcast "Call Her Daddy," has launched a new Gen Z-focused podcast network called The Unwell Network. The network, a subsidiary of Cooper's media company Trending, will feature shows hosted by TikTok personalities Alix Earle and Madeline Argy. While "Call Her Daddy" will remain exclusive to Spotify, The Unwell Network's upcoming podcasts will be available on other platforms. Cooper's move comes as Spotify shifts away from exclusive podcast deals, and she aims to tap into the rising popularity of podcasts among Gen Z listeners.
