"Savannah Guthrie's Absence from 'Today' Sparks Controversy Over Kelly Rowland Interview"
TL;DR
Savannah Guthrie was absent from the Today show following backlash from her interview with Kelly Rowland, where she repeatedly asked about Beyoncé. However, her absence was not due to the criticism but because she's currently on a book tour promoting her latest collection of faith-based personal essays. During an interview at the George W. Bush Presidential Center, Savannah broke down in tears while discussing her late father.
