"Del Toro's Frankenstein Cast Rumored with Isaac, Garfield, and Goth"
TL;DR
Guillermo del Toro is set to write and direct a new adaptation of Mary Shelley's Frankenstein for Netflix, with Oscar Isaac, Mia Goth, and Andrew Garfield in talks to star. The script is still in development, so it's unclear how much del Toro will deviate from the original story. This marks del Toro's third project with Netflix, following his previous film The Shape of Water. The renewed interest in Universal Classic Monsters has led to several new adaptations, including del Toro's Frankenstein.
