Garfield weighs in on Amazon dropping OpenAI film, eyes a chat with Sam Altman

Andrew Garfield comments on Amazon MGM Studios’ decision to drop the Luca Guadagnino–penned film about Sam Altman and OpenAI, saying he wasn’t surprised and praising the studio’s support. Neon acquired the nearly finished project, titled Artificial, and Garfield says he’d be excited to meet Altman if the opportunity ever arises, while acknowledging he’s playing a scripted version of the character and may never fully know the real Altman.
