Keanu Reeves Grounds Hill’s Hollywood Satire in Outcome
TL;DR
Keanu Reeves stars in Jonah Hill’s Hollywood satire Outcome, playing a beloved star threatened by extortion; Reeves brings a rare, sincere core, but the film’s broad satire and shallow supporting players drag it down, despite cameos from Martin Scorsese. The Apple TV+ release on April 10 is met with mixed to negative notes, with critics calling the material meager and the comedic tone uneven.
