Martin Scorsese's highly anticipated Western film "Killers of the Flower Moon," starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Brendan Fraser, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, and Robert De Niro, will have a limited release on October 6, 2023, and open wide on October 20, 2023. The film is based on David Grann's non-fiction book about a series of murders in Osage County, Oklahoma, during the 1920s after oil was discovered on Osage Nation Indigenous land. The film is rumored to premiere at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival.
