'Moana 2' Breaks Box Office Records Despite Mixed Reviews

It also achieved the largest five-day debut in history, overtaking "The Super Mario Bros. Movie." "Wicked" also performed well, earning $117.5 million over the holiday period, making it the highest-grossing Broadway adaptation domestically. "Gladiator II" and other films contributed to a record-breaking Thanksgiving box office total of $422 million.
