Guillermo del Toro is eyeing Oscar Isaac, Andrew Garfield, and Mia Goth for roles in his upcoming live-action feature, Frankenstein, for Netflix. The filmmaker has long been interested in tackling the seminal 1818 novel by Mary Shelley, but had cast doubt on the idea in 2019. Del Toro recently won an Oscar for Pinocchio and created the anthology series Guillermo del Toro’s Cabinet of Curiosities for the streaming service. Isaac, Garfield, and Goth are all genre favorites with notable roles in film and television. No formal offers have been made yet.
