Samuel L. Jackson Dismisses Oscar Nominations as Meaningless Without a Win
TL;DR
Samuel L. Jackson expressed his indifference towards Oscar nominations, stating that it's an honor to win rather than just being nominated. Despite only receiving one Oscar nomination for "Pulp Fiction" in 1995, Jackson, who was awarded an honorary Oscar in 2021, prefers roles in popular films like Marvel movies over Oscar-chasing projects. He values personal satisfaction and audience enjoyment over industry accolades, emphasizing his choice to be in films that resonate with viewers.
