"Shazam! Fury of the Gods" Receives Mixed Reviews and Teases Justice League Cameo
TL;DR
Director David F. Sandberg discusses the emotional ending and massive Wonder Woman cameo in Shazam: Fury of the Gods, revealing that Gal Gadot was always planned to appear. Sandberg also confirms that Black Adam exists in the same world and that the Justice Society, not the Justice League, asks Billy to join in an end credit scene. Sandberg wanted to create doubt about whether Shazam would stay dead, but ultimately felt he deserved to come back.
