Sudanese film 'Goodbye Julia' makes history at Cannes.

The Cannes Film Festival has reached its halfway mark with a strong lineup of films, including "Four Daughters" and "Goodbye Julia". "Four Daughters" explores the decision of two teenage girls to join the Islamic State, while "Goodbye Julia" is the first Sudanese film to screen at Cannes and explores the troubled coexistence between unequal communities in Sudan. Director Mohamed Kordofani hopes the film can help ignite a dialogue about building a new national identity in Sudan that is proud of things that don't drive people apart.
