Marvel and NetEase Games are teaming up to develop Marvel Rivals, a team-based multiplayer hero shooter featuring Marvel superheroes and supervillains. The game, with Overwatch vibes, will be free-to-play and played from a third-person perspective, with 18 confirmed characters so far. Marvel Rivals will include Team-Up moves, allowing characters to combine powers, and will feature a mix of ranged, close-quarters, and melee combat styles. The alpha test is expected to launch in May, offering players a taste of the game.
