The Super Mario Bros. Movie: Reviews and Controversy

Grant Kirkhope, the composer of the DK Rap from Donkey Kong 64, expressed his disappointment on Twitter for not being credited by name in The Super Mario Bros. Movie. While Koji Kondo, Mario's original composer, is credited by name, songs originating from video games simply say which game they were pulled from. This has brought attention once again to video game composers who have been vocal in the past about not being properly credited for their work.
