Hugh Jackman Urges Sun Safety and Skin Cancer Prevention

Hugh Jackman is undergoing skin cancer tests after his doctor spotted irregularities that "could be or could not be basal cell [carcinoma]." The actor has received treatment for basal cell carcinoma several times in the past. He urged his fans to protect themselves in the sun and wear sunscreen, as he did not wear sunscreen growing up and was a prime candidate for skin cancer. Basal cell carcinoma is one of the most common cancers in the US and is associated with sun exposure.
