Lionsgate Implements Mask Mandate After Santa Monica Office Covid Outbreak

Lionsgate has reinstated a mask mandate for nearly half of its employees at its Santa Monica office following a recent Covid-19 outbreak. The mandate applies to the 3rd and 5th floors of the building and requires employees to wear medical-grade face coverings indoors, except when alone in an office, eating, drinking, or in a large open workspace alone. Employees are also required to perform daily self-screenings and stay home if exhibiting symptoms or having traveled internationally in the last 10 days. Lionsgate is conducting contact tracing and providing at-home Covid-19 test kits upon request. The move comes as Los Angeles experiences a rise in Covid-19 cases, and other entertainment companies may follow suit.
