Spanish Actress Welcomes Late Son's Baby Through Surrogacy Using His Sperm.

Spanish TV actress Ana Obregón revealed that the child she had through a surrogate pregnancy belongs to her deceased son, Aless Lequio, who passed away from cancer at the age of 27. The child, named Ana Sandra, was conceived using a sample of Aless's sperm that was frozen and stored in New York. Obregón used a surrogate of Cuban origin living in Florida and flew to New York for the child’s birth. Paying for surrogate pregnancies is banned in Spain and most of the European Union, but Obregón can register a surrogate child born in another country.
