Former '60 Minutes' Producer Files Discrimination Lawsuit Against CBS Alleging Toxic Environment for Women
A former producer for 60 Minutes, Alexandra Poolos, has filed a discrimination lawsuit against CBS, CBS News, and parent company Paramount Global, alleging that she was falsely fired due to sexism and misogyny within the network. Poolos names several high-profile individuals, including former CEO Les Moonves and former executive producer Jeff Fager, in her complaint. She also accuses her former supervisor of emotional and verbal abuse, sexual harassment, and a drunken attempt to coerce her into his hotel room. Poolos seeks damages, severance pay, and a court judgment to address the alleged unlawful practices. CBS News declined to comment on the pending litigation.
