Santos claims that Kimmel deceived him and violated copyright by broadcasting the personalized videos on national television and social media for commercial gain. Kimmel had been sending Santos ridiculous requests on Cameo, and Santos, who had been making money off the platform, is seeking at least $750,000 in damages. Kimmel had joked about the possibility of being sued by Santos for fraud, and now the lawsuit has become a reality.
