Katherine Heigl prefers raising children in Utah over LA.

Actress Katherine Heigl explained that she moved to Utah from Los Angeles to raise her children in a better environment. She wanted to be more involved in their lives and activities, and also keep an eye on their phone usage. Heigl and her husband, Josh Kelley, live on a ranch outside Park City, Utah, with their three children, eight dogs, and three cats. She said that when she goes on location for a movie or show, her kids stay at home. Heigl is hyper-focused on her family when she is back at home in Utah.
