"Kevin Hart Shines in Netflix's Ludicrously Entertaining Heist Film 'Lift'"
TL;DR
In the Netflix heist film "Lift," Kevin Hart stars as master art thief Cyrus Whitaker, leading a team enlisted by Interpol to steal $500 million in gold bars from an airplane. The movie, while borrowing from the heist genre, offers entertaining action and a global scale, with Hart and his team adding international appeal. Directed by F. Gary Gray, "Lift" delivers ludicrous but fun heist hijinks, although the plot's predictability and one-dimensional characters may detract from the overall experience.
