TL;DR

While Ron Howard's new Disney+ documentary "Jim Henson: Idea Man" offers a polished look at the legendary puppeteer, a more comprehensive and touching portrayal is available on YouTube through the Defunctland channel. Created by Kevin Perjurer, Defunctland's six-episode series delves deeper into Henson's life and career, providing a more humanizing and detailed account than Howard's film.
