Aaron Rowe Exits Ed Sheeran Tour Over Macklemore's Palestine Controversy

Columbia Records singer Aaron Rowe withdrew as a support act on Ed Sheeran’s The Loop North American Tour after Macklemore was dropped for pro-Palestine remarks; Rowe posted an Instagram note saying he cannot participate in silencing voices and expressed solidarity with Palestine. He had opened the Australian leg and rejoined North American dates; fellow openers Lukas Graham, Finneas and Beoga also dropped out following Rowe’s announcement. Ed Sheeran said the promoter made the decision to eject Macklemore, not him, and he is choosing to stay neutral on political issues.
