In Questlove’s new Earth, Wind & Fire documentary, Philip Bailey says the 1975 hit 'Reasons' came from a one-night stand with a woman who was in a relationship — not a love song, but a 'sex call' that many wedding playlists have kissed as romance. The film features insights from Anderson .Paak and H.E.R., plus appearances by Barack and Michelle Obama, and premiered at Tribeca before arriving on HBO on June 7.
