Country Hits Sweep the Hot 100, Making Historic Five-Song Top Five
TL;DR
Country music makes Billboard Hot 100 history as five country tracks occupy the top five for the first time: Langley’s ‘Choosin’ Texas’ remains No. 1 in its 16th week; Wallen’s new ‘Been by Now’ debuts at No. 2; Swift returns to country-leaning territory with ‘I Knew It, I Knew You’ at No. 3; the Langley–Wallen duet ‘I Can’t Love You Anymore’ is No. 4; and Stella Lefty’s ‘Boston’ rounds out the Top 5. The milestone underscores Langley’s ongoing chart dominance, potential records for most weeks at No. 1 by a non-holiday song, and a country-heavy top 10 ahead of Grammy considerations.
