Diddy clarifies joke about paying Sting $5K a day for sample.

Diddy has clarified that his previous tweet about paying Sting $5,000 a day for the rest of his life was a joke. The rapper had responded to an interview in which Sting said he received royalties for Diddy's hit song 'I'll Be Missing You', which sampled The Police's 'Every Breath You Take'. Diddy had claimed he was forced to pay Sting the ongoing fee after sampling the track without permission in 1997. However, he has now said that he and Sting are friends and that the previous tweet was facetious.
