Diddy has confirmed that he has to pay Sting $5,000 every day for the rest of his life for sampling The Police's "Every Breath You Take" without permission in his hit song "I'll Be Missing You." Sting had previously stated that the amount was $2,000 per day. Despite the expensive deal, the two musicians are now good friends and have nothing but love and support for each other. Diddy has already paid out over $45 million to Sting and will continue to do so.
