"Hozier's 'Unreal Unearth': A Bold and Eclectic Musical Journey"
TL;DR
Hozier's third album, "Unreal Unearth," showcases his growth as an artist with a to-hell-and-back personal journey filled with desire, greed, and euphoria. Leavening indie-rock songwriting with sensual funk and soul, Hozier's lyrics explore themes of love, mortality, and literary allusions without feeling clichéd. The album features collaborations with producer Jeff Gitelman and writer Jennifer Decilveo, refining Hozier's sound and delivering a cohesive and powerful album that doesn't shy away from any topic. "Unreal Unearth" marks Hozier's rebirth as an artist.
