TL;DR

Metallica performed a rare full live version of "Master of Puppets" during their week-long residency on Jimmy Kimmel Live! The band sounded the best it has in years, with unbelievable guitar solos and frontman James Hetfield smiling as the crowd sang along. Despite forming 42 years ago, Metallica has found a resurgence of late, with "Master of Puppets" even featured in the popular video game FortNite. The performance is a win for people dealing with substance abuse, as Hetfield has overcome his demons and the band is back to having fun.
