"Rap Beef Propels 'Like That' to No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100"
TL;DR
Future, Metro Boomin, and Kendrick Lamar's "Like That" debuts at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, continuing a tradition of diss tracks reaching the chart's apex. The song's success is fueled by Lamar's thinly veiled shots at fellow hip-hop icons Drake and J. Cole. This follows a history of diss tracks at the top, including Carly Simon's "You're So Vain," Stevie Wonder's "You Haven't Done Nothin'," Gwen Stefani's "Hollaback Girl," Taylor Swift's "Bad Blood," Olivia Rodrigo's "Drivers License" and "Good 4 U," and more.
