Sammy Hagar Presses Alex Van Halen: ‘There Was a Van Hagar’ — What’s Your Problem?
TL;DR
Sammy Hagar publicly challenged Alex Van Halen after Alex dismissed him in a memoir, insisting there was a real Van Halen era with substantial success and asking what his problem is with the Van Hagar legacy. Hagar cites Alex’s anger over his Cabo Wabo tequila venture and past memoirs, and says he’d warmly welcome a reconciliation if Alex reaches out. The piece notes ongoing Van Halen nostalgia, Hagar’s Las Vegas residency with Mikey Anthony and Joe Satriani, and references David Lee Roth’s recent activities, all highlighting a long-running, high-profile band feud.
