Slipknot Parts Ways with Sid Wilson After 28-Year Run
TL;DR
Two weeks after TMZ reported Slipknot fired Sid Wilson, the band confirmed the turntablist is no longer in the group, effective immediately. Wilson had been with the band since 1998, and his departure follows a history of lineup changes (e.g., Chris Fehn in 2019 and Craig Jones in 2023) as well as broader legacy shifts within Slipknot.
