Slipknot Parts Ways With Sid Wilson After Three Decades
TL;DR
Slipknot has reportedly cut ties with Sid Wilson, effective immediately, ending his 28-year tenure as the band's turntablist and keyboardist since joining in 1998; the group posted a brief message wishing him well and did not immediately respond to comment requests. Wilson's exit follows several other recent departures and a prior deal in which Slipknot sold a majority stake in their catalog.
