Smashing Pumpkins Launch Rats in a Cage Tour to Celebrate Mellon Collie’s 30th Anniversary

Smashing Pumpkins announced a two-set North American arena tour, the Rats in a Cage Tour, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness. Set 1 will feature Mellon Collie songs in a theatrical presentation, Set 2 will pull from the rest of their catalog. The tour runs Sept. 30–Nov. 12 (Columbus to Los Angeles), with presale May 19 and general on-sale May 21. Ahead of the tour, Billy Corgan will also take the Mellon Collie/Orchestral concept to Europe for a series of theater shows featuring a 60-piece orchestra.
