Takeoff's Mother Files Wrongful Death Lawsuit Against Venue Owners Where Rapper Was Killed

Titania Davenport, mother of late Migos rapper Takeoff, has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the owners of 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston, Texas, where her son was shot and killed last November. Davenport's complaint cites 18 instances of alleged negligence on the part of the Houston venue, claiming that the venue did not provide adequate security on the night of Takeoff's death. She is seeking at least $1 million in damages.
