TL;DR

Vampire Weekend has released two singles, "Gen-X Cops" and "Capricorn," along with music videos inspired by 1980s MTA cars, as a part of their comeback. The singles are from their upcoming fifth album, Only God Was Above Us, which is set to be released on April 5 and features a return to New York iconography. The band will also embark on their first tour since the pandemic, with special show-specific openers and a solar-eclipse show in Austin on April 8.
