Former Fox producer Eckhart dies by suicide amid rape allegations case

Jennifer Eckhart, a former Fox Business producer who accused Ed Henry of rape in 2020, died by suicide at 36 in her Florida home; authorities found her in a bathtub with a folding pocketknife nearby, and the county coroner confirmed the suicide. Eckhart had sued Henry and Fox News in 2020 over alleged rape and harassment; Henry later settled a civil suit in 2025 and was fired by Fox News after an internal investigation, while Eckhart’s case against Fox News was dismissed earlier this year. Eckhart worked for Fox Business from 2013 to 2020.
