Tyler Perry Studios President Steve Mensch Dies in Florida Plane Crash

Steve Mensch, the president and general manager of Tyler Perry Studios, died in a plane crash at the age of 62. The crash occurred near Homosassa, Florida, and is under investigation. Mensch had been with Tyler Perry Studios since 2016, managing its expansive Atlanta-based operations. He previously held leadership roles at Third Rail Studios and Turner Broadcasting. Mensch is survived by his wife and three children.
