Grizz Chapman, 30 Rock’s Grizz, Dies at 52

Grizz Chapman, the actor who played Grizz on 30 Rock, died in his sleep on May 22, 2026, at age 52 after years of illness and dialysis. He had a kidney transplant in 2010 and later became a spokesperson for the National Kidney Foundation. He is survived by his wife and two children; his passing was announced by his cousin Donte Harrison.
