Illinois TV anchor and executive dies at 42 during Florida vacation.

Lesley Van Ness, a former news anchor for NBC affiliate WGEM in Quincy, Illinois, and VP of Recruiting at Gray Television, passed away from a sudden illness while vacationing with her family in Florida. She was described as a "powerful personality" by a former colleague. Van Ness is survived by her husband and two sons.
