"Biden Skips Super Bowl Interview for Second Year in a Row"
TL;DR
President Biden has declined an interview during the pre-game festivities leading up to Super Bowl LVIII for the second year in a row, breaking a tradition that has been in place for decades. The decision comes amid strained relationships with right-leaning media and a lack of press interviews since taking office. The pre-game Super Bowl interview with the president has been a customary element of the broadcast since President Barack Obama's tenure, but it seems to be in danger of dying out.
