The Carl Lentz Scandal: Revelations and Reflections.
TL;DR
Disgraced Hillsong pastor Carl Lentz has revealed in a new documentary series that he had suicidal thoughts during the fallout from his two illicit affairs, which led to his ousting from the church in 2020. Lentz admitted to having an affair with fashion designer Ranin Karim and the family nanny, Leona Kimes, and said he thought about "vacating the planet" during the scandal. He also claimed to have been abused as a child and said he takes responsibility for his actions. Lentz and his wife are still together and have moved churches, but he is no longer preaching.
