The Rock made a surprise appearance on WWE SmackDown, aligning himself with Roman Reigns and The Bloodline. During the segment, he made a hand gesture that resembled one used by AEW's Austin Gunn, leading to reactions from AEW wrestlers who noticed the similarity. While it's unlikely that The Rock was intentionally referencing AEW, the gesture caught the attention of some wrestling fans.
