AEW Full Gear 2024: Highlights, Surprises, and Backstage Drama
TL;DR
AEW's Full Gear pay-per-view was a mixed bag, featuring both standout performances and confusing storylines. While Jon Moxley retained his title against Orange Cassidy, the event was marked by an overload of story arcs, including the emergence of new contenders and factions like the Hurt Syndicate. Notable matches included Bobby Lashley's dominant debut, Kyle Fletcher's victory over Will Ospreay, and Mercedes Moné's successful title defense. Despite some missteps, AEW is clearly pushing new talent and narratives, though the execution left some fans frustrated.
