TL;DR

Joe Hendry captured the vacant NXT Championship in a ladder match, outlasting six competitors. The belt was vacated after Oba Femi was called up to the main roster; in the finish, Ricky Saints shoved Keanu Carver off a ladder, Saints paused to pose, and Hendry framed his title win by unhooking the belt after Saints’ miscue. This marked Hendry’s first NXT Championship win.
