TL;DR

The ratings and viewership for the first night of WWE NXT's Halloween Havoc were down, with a total audience of 787,000 and a .21 rating among 18-49 year olds. This can be attributed to tough competition from other sports events, including Game 7 of baseball's National League Championship Series and the opening night of the NBA season. However, these numbers are still an improvement from the same week last year, and the upcoming loaded week two episode will provide a better gauge of viewership.
